Come and Sing Dixit Dominus!

On September 15th, we’ll be holding a full-day workshop culminating in the performance in the evening of Handel’s Dixit Dominus

Join members of the Chandos for an uplifting day of musical exploration and camaraderie. Don’t miss this fantastic opportunity to sing and be coached by two of the UK’s leading vocal practitioners.

Award-winning musical director, James Davey (Chantage, Chandos Chamber Choir, Fleet Singers), will lead CHORUS SESSIONs throughout the day and conduct the evening performance.

Chorus fee for full day + performance: £25

Baroque and Handel specialist Julian Perkins will be leading MASTERCLASSES for the solo/duet parts & quintet:
  • No 2 Virgam Virtus Tuae – Alto Aria (90 minutes, maximum 6 applicants, £45 each)
  • No 3 Tecum Principium – Soprano Aria (90 minutes, maximum 6 applicants, £45 each)
  • No 6 Dominus a Dextris Tuis – Quintet: two sopranos, alto, tenor and bass (90 minutes, maximum 10 applicants, £35 each)
